As an Administrator, you can add Outbrain to your blog template. Outbrain is a tool that "helps readers discover interesting content." Essentially, it provides links to related posts at the bottom of an individual post page.

Also, this tool provides a dashboard that allows you to track the widget’s performance, change or update preferences, and to control recommended links being displayed.

Designer: Adding Google +1

As a Designer, you have the ability to add the Google +1 button to your network. For more information on the Google +1 button, please see the official Google page.

1.  Login to www.compendiumblog.com with your Author credentials

2.  In the top navigation bar, click Design --> Template

3.  Once in the template editor, save a backup before beginning to update the page

4.  Access the 'Source' tab

5.  Locate the <html> tag and add http://www.google.com/+1/button/ within the tag.

Designer: Receiving Template Access

By default, Administrators and Authors do not have the ability to edit the template design, therefore, all template changes are made through a request to the Product Support team. Set-up Process: Template Design

Designer: Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)

As a Designer, you have the ability to apply a Cascading Style Sheet (CSS) to the Compendium Template.  CSS is a simple mechanism for adding style (e.g. fonts, colors, spacing) to web documents. 

The Compendium template is 100% CSS compliant, and can be highly customized by applying CSS to the template.  If you chose to apply CSS, we recommend writing all CSS inline in the 'Global CSS' section within the 'Components' tab.
