Administrator: Requiring an Alt Text for Images

As an Administrator, you have the ability to require alt text to be used for images uploaded into posts across your network. Alternative (alt) text is descriptive text associated with an image that will display if the image doesn't load. Including alt text also allows search engines to 'see' what the image is.

Please note:  Authors can always add alt text to images regardless of the network setting. Requiring it is turned off by default.

FAQ: Changing a Blog Domain Name

Changing your domain will have a negative impact on your blog campaign. It will likely result in the loss of the following:
  • Search engine indexing
  • Search engine rankings
