Compendium currently ties into the following for external services:
  • Google and Bing news searches for retrieval of content ideas
  • Several update notification (ping) services, including weblogs.com, moreover.com, NewsGator, and Google blog search
  • ExactTarget for outbound e-mail notification delivery
  • Google Analytics for their Data Export API to retrieve report data for our own analytics interface
  • Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter for Social Networking integration

Basic Troubleshooting: Why Cookies are Used

Compendium uses cookies for multiple reasons.  Below are descriptions of the different cookies, who receives them, and why.

Application Cookies:  Cookies set for content authors and administrators.
