Administrator: Setting a Default Image for Social Sharing

As an Administrator, you have the ability to set a default image to appear with social shares of posts that do not contain images. If a post contains images, the first image will be pulled to display with the social share.

Please note:  Not all social media sites utilize OpenGraph. Facebook and LinkedIn are two that do.

Administrator: Adding Multiple Social Networking Accounts

As an Administrator, you now have the ability to promote to multiple Twitter, Facebook or LinkedIn accounts at a time.

Administrator: Setting Gravatar Preferences

As an Administrator, you are responsible for setting your network's Gravatar preferences. Gravatars are 'universally recognized avatars,' or small images that appear next to your name on various websites. Compendium utilizes Gravatars to display Author's pictures next to their name in an Author list on the blog.

As an Administrator, you have the ability to set your preferences for email notifications about pending posts or comments.  You have the option to receive these notifications either once daily or immediately after submission.

Author: Promoting a Post as a Trusted Author

As an Author, you may be assigned the Trusted Author role by your network Administrator.  As a Trusted Author, you have the ability to promote your posts to your personal Twitter, Facebook, and/or LinkedIn accounts. The Trusted Author role allows your posts to bypass Administrator moderation to be published immediately on the blog after you click 'Submit.'
